Background and business issue In line with their strategic vision, the client sought to engage a 3 rd party Human Capital Management software implementer to work with them in implementing PeopleSoft. The implementation was challenging due to the complexity in the integration issues to various systems and legacy environments, such as SAP. The project owner therefore demanded a good quality and professional consultant to set out the project approach, methodology, and implementation plan.
Approach/ Solution
Freewill Solutions was hired to act as an advisor to the project sponsor and the project steering committee.
Freewill’s consultant conducted an assessment of the project to understand the actual project status, business requirements, and critical issues. The implementation plan was designed and the team was set up to implement the project. Definition of a suitable solution (requirements definition) combined with careful change management and user training were to prove crucial success factors in delivering project success. The PeopleSoft HR core modules were proposed to support the defined requirements; including all essential HR processes such as Recruitment, Workforce Administrator, Absence and Vacation Management, Enterprise Learning, etc. |
